ScrapPINK by Memories Live On in October!!!

What:
HUGE Paper Crafting Event
(a portion of the fees will go to Susan G. Komen for the Cure)

When:
Saturday October 10, 2009
10am - Midnight

Where:
Cypress Hotel
10050 S. De Anza Blvd

Grab a few friends and come join us for 14 hours of crafting, games, prizes, make & takes and more!

We have not one, but SEVEN different make & take projects planned! Each project will be conducted by one of our creative teachers. Guest teacher Michael Strong will also be leading one of the make and takes.

Lunch and dinner are included (please indicate any dietary restrictions on the registration form.)

In addition to the amazing prizes we have planned (think Crop-a-dile, Bind-it-All, Cuttlebug, and all sorts of other "must have" tools), each crafter will walk away with a goody bag full of pretty papers, stickers, and other embellishments.

PLUS all participants will receive a 15% discount on any purchases made during the event at Memories Live On.

And, of course, this is a fundraiser so a portion of your fees will go to support Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

So, come catch up on all those projects you've been meaning to work on, learn some techniques, and contribute toward a worthy cause all at the same time!

thanks joe!

most scrapbooking events i dont get quite so into, but scrapPINK is a little bit different. pardon me if i'm not explaining it correctly, but to my knowledge scrapPINK is a magazine partnering with the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation holding fundraising events at retail locations. This is the forth year the partnership has existed and its really great to see people so involved in it. i dont know numbers, but i cant help but think that its tremendously successful and i like to know my efforts are (sometimes) going for a greater good. how else am i going to ensure that my rockin tits keep rockin?!?!?!?
