well, poop.

ok. my hyper organization fails me. i have a few more details to work on before i can get the DT call out there into the world. last night i got distracted by actual crafting projects *gasp* and didnt harass the appropriate people. But all is well. This is why i left plenty of grace period to give everyone who wanted to apply enough time to work on their application. BUT i would like to share a couple of the things i was working on last night. Among other things, i was working on some christmas cards. I dont get the feeling that any of these are "done" yet, but i think they're all good starts.

and then september was over...

omg. my head is spinning. so many super awesome things are in the works these day. I litterally have a headache from the ideas trying to sneak out. Lucky for me, I have sticky notes in bulk... and caffine. magic. As usual, the SBSRUS blog is zooming along. I expect a new giveaway to pop up there in a couple days. This weekend i have a full day of action packed classes. Officially SBSRUS will be releasing a kit club just in time for the holidays. Super excited about putting that together, gathering a team and providing the most way rad kits out there! Unofficially, we have amazing classes and events planned for next year along with maybe even a digital line and omg so much more. See! Head! Spinning!!! WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

so, i totally wrote that last week and ran out of time to post, but i'm back for a couple minutes and working on the final details of our DT call that should go out TOMORROW!!! eep!

Inspired by designer Irene Tan, Holly has recreated this acrylic layout with loads of simple yet beautiful details. Learn how to use rub-ons and distress stickles on an acrylic sheet for a more dramatic effect. We will also use several different types of embellishments such as ribbons, metal brads, clear stickers, and bling so for those of you who are looking for ways to enhance your pages, this is a great way to try out a bunch of different products!
**Students are asked to bring their favorite fine tipped scissors, adhesive and (1) 4x6” photo to this class. This layout and some techniques cannot be completed without the photo. Photos can be printed at Memories Live On for a minimal printing fee.

today looks like a promising day of some book binding and park playing. i hope to finish that house keeping around my craft space i was talking about a few days ago actually finished. maybe. since i got this nifty, out of focus webcam i was hoping to do a video blog one of these days. you know, talk to you, show you around the place, poke fun of people. erm. yea! one day...

I've been so super busy working on samples for memories live on and samples/product reviews for scrapbooking supplies R US's blog (SBSRUS) (none of which have been posted, but all in good time) that i have totally neglected sharing anything here. i'm awesome, what can i say? i have had the privilage of recreating Irene Tan's (aka. Scrapperlicious) work for SBSRUS and having a blast! she has definately expanded my inking and distressing horizons. so much so that i recently created this little sample book built upon clear scrap's mini deco acrylic album. it doesnt have any photos atm, but soon...

i really would like to buy the world a coke.

when i saw the oh so happy ghetto blaster on a sheet "Happy Thoughts" of from my little shoe box's new "Enjoy life" line i knew that it was destined for something great. then i stumbled into a photo i took and printed of real coke awhile ago. yea. it was majic. and, really, any excuse to put more martha glitter on stuff. a little tackey glue and some felt thickers and life is oh so sweet. 

here i go trying to use alchol inks like i know what i'm doing. but trying to blend mix alphas i had laying around. in ended up with a strip of Amercian Crafts and a deep purple faux snake skin paper. i love the cheesy title and bad picture of husband. he appreciates me doing this. i swearz.
